First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has launched the first braille book of the Dhivehi alphabet Thaana. The book was launched prior to the inauguration of an exhibition showcasing the talents of people with disabilities, “Redhan – fannuveri aharemen”.
The exhibition Redhan was officially inaugurated by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim. The exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Law and Gender, is being held at the National Art Gallery.
