President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have attended the closing ceremony of Makita 40th National Swimming Competition 2015, organized by the Swimming Association of Maldives.
A total of 12 teams and 148 swimmers participated in this National Swimming Competition, which was held from 29th of November to 5th of December 2015.
At the closing ceremony held on Sunday evening, President Yameen Abdul Gayoom awarded the champion male swimmer and male champion’s team with the trophy, while First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim awarded the champion female swimmer and female champion’s team with the trophy.
