President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a condolence message to the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, following the passing away of his son.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“It was with deep sadness that I learnt of the sudden passing of your beloved son, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.”
”At this time of national mourning, the Government and the people of the Maldives and I personally join Your Highness and the Royal Family, and the brotherly people of the United Arab Emirates in sharing your profound grief. May the Almighty Allah rest his soul in peace and grant him a place in Jannat al Firdous. Aameen.”
