President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Dr. Mohamed Asim as the High Commissioner of Maldives to Bangladesh.
President Yameen presented the letter of appointment to Dr. Mohamed Asim, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office on Sunday morning.
Dr. Mohamed Asim has previously served as the High Commissioner of Maldives to Sri Lanka, High Commissioner of Maldives to Pakistan, and High Commissioner of Maldives to the United Kingdom.
