Vice President says Maldivian Tourism would not have developed if not for Maldivian Investors

Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor has said that local investors were the reason behind the progress Maldives’ tourism has made today. He made this remark while speaking at the function held on Thursday evening, to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).

In his speech, the Vice President expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner General of MIRA and his team, for their remarkable work. He also highlighted the importance of the Government and the private sector working together for the betterment of the country.

At the function, Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor awarded the Ran’ Laari award to this year’s recipients. The Ran’ Laari award ‎was introduced by MIRA in recognition of taxpayers who pay the highest ‎amount in taxes.
