Presidential scholarships have been awarded to the 23 students who won 1st place in the 2014 national top 10 of the 2014 A ‘Level examinations. The Scholarship award letters were presented at Top Achievers Awards 2014, the awarding ceremony of the highest achievers of the 2014 Higher Secondary Examinations.
At the function held last evening at Dharubaaruge, the scholarships were awarded to the recipients, on behalf of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, by Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed. The Vice President also awarded the Presidential Medal of Top Achievement, to those students who came first in the World Top Ten, in the individual subject Accounting.
11 students were awarded the Presidential scholarship in the year 2013.
