President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have attended the function held to mark this year’s Huravee Day. The function was held this evening at Dharubaaruge.
Huravee Day is celebrated in the Maldives as a tribute to Sultan Hassan Izzudheen from Huraa in the Male Atoll, who freed the Maldives from South Indian invaders.
