President Mohamed Nasheed has returned to Malé this evening after concluding his visit to India to attend the opening of the Commonwealth Games.
Speaking to the media on his return to Male’, President Nasheed said the Indian government would assist the government to implement its housing scheme, adding that India will help to build 400 housing units.
During his visit, the President met the President and Prime Minister of India as well as the Maldives’ contingent participating in the Commonwealth Games.
