President Mohamed Nasheed today met the Maldivian contingent participating in the Commonwealth Games 2010.
At the meeting, the President encouraged all participants to show their best performance at the Games and represent the country with pride.
The President also presented the national flag to the flag bearer of the Maldivian contingent for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. Maldivian Table Tennis Champion Mueena Mohamed will carry the national flag at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games later today.
