Minister of Islamic Affairs, Hon. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has attended the Presidential handover ceremony of the 12th President of Turkey, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Minister Shaheem attended the ceremony as a special envoy of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
During his visit, Minister Shaheem also met with the new Prime Minister of Turkey, H.E. Ahmet Davutoğlu, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
