President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a congratulatory message to His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain, on the successful execution of the responsible office.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, I am pleased to present my deepest respects together with warm congratulations to Your Majesty on the successful execution of the responsible office, and on Your Majesty’s decision to appoint Crown Prince Felipe, Prince of Asturias as the new King of Spain.”
