Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has today met with the Minister of Health of Kuwait, Dr. Ali Saad Al-Obaidi, as part of his current visit to Kuwait.
At the meeting, the Vice President and the Kuwaiti Health Minister explored areas where further assistance could be provided to the development of the Maldives’ health sector.
In this regard, Minister Al-Obaidi expressed willingness of the Kuwaiti Government to send a team of experts to study and identify the areas where Kuwaiti assistance was needed. Minister Al-Obaidi also conveyed Kuwait’s support to the strengthening of the medical facilities and expertise of the health sector.
