Ambassador of Japan to the Maldives Mr Nobuhito Hobo has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed. The meeting was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, the President and the Ambassador highlighted the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways of further strengthening these relations.
Vice President Jameel expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance Maldives has continued to receive from the Japanese Government. Further, he underscored the importance of promoting trade and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
