President Waheed meets UAE’s Mnister of Labour

UAE’s Minister of Labour, Saqer Gubash has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed.

At the meeting held at the President’s Office this morning, President briefed the Minister on the current political situation of the country and on the upcoming presidential election.

The President and the Minister also discussed ways of further strengthening the relations between the two countries, especially in the area of labour market development.

Minister Gubash reassured President Waheed of UAE’s continuous support and cooperation to the Maldives.
