British High Commissioner to the Maldives, John Rankin has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, discussions were focused on the proceedings of the presidential election which was held on 7th September. The President and High Commissioner also discussed the current political situation of the country.
The President underlined the importance for all political leaders to priorities peace and stability in the country.
