Joint Secretary of India Harsh Vardhan Shringla has today paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, the President highlighted the long existing bilateral relations between the Maldives and India, and noted that the bond was strengthening each day. The President expressed his appreciation to the Indian government for their numerous assistance to the Maldives.
Discussions at the meeting were also held on the current political situation in the Maldives.
