President Dr Mohamed Waheed and First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain have arrived in Palestine to officiate the 4th Islamic Conference of Bait Al Maqdis.
The official welcoming ceremony was held at the Palestinian President’s Palace.
On his arrival in Ramallah, the President was greeted by the Palestinian President, Dr Mahmood Abbas.
The two Presidents then proceeded to the Saluting Dias, where the national anthems of the two countries were played. The President then inspected a Guard of Honour.
