The President changes the name of Telecommunication Authority of Maldives and establishes Civil Aviation Department

President Nasheed has changed the name of Telecommunication Authority of Maldives to Communication Authority of Maldives. The President has also established Civil Aviation Department.

In addition, the President has abolished the Department of Justice which was under the Attorney General’s Office and has assigned the National Law Library to be administered under the Ministry of Education.
