President Nasheed has decided to change the pay structure of government employees and the official working hours of the government. This decision was made after deliberating with the members of the cabinet at the cabinet meeting held today.
Details on the changes to the pay structure and the official times of government offices would be announced tomorrow at 10.30am, at a ceremony to be held at the President’s Office.
