Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today met with the Ambassador of Iran to the Maldives, Mr Mahmoud Rahimi Gorji. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
Discussions were mainly focused on ways to enhance the close bilateral relations that exist between the Maldives and Iran. Dr Waheed also explored possibilities of increasing Iran’s assistance to the Maldives.
