President to speak on the economic recovery programme

In his radio address, which will be broadcast on the Voice of Maldives tomorrow morning, President Nasheed will highlight the measures being taken by the government to ensure fast recovery from the economic downturn.

The President will also speak on the state visit to the Maldives by the President of Timor-Leste Dr José Ramos-Horta, and on the importance of promoting responsible journalism.

This week’s radio address is his 36th radio address to be broadcast on the Voice of Maldives.
