In a letter to the President of the Police Integrity Commission, President Mohamed Nasheed has called on the Commission to investigate the death of Mohamed Nooz of Gdh. Thinadhoo.
Nooz was in police custody at the time of his death.
The President has expressed concern over allegations from some quarters that his death was caused by police torture.
