President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today proposed Dr Mohamed Asim as the Ambassador of Maldives to European Union and Dr Aishath Shehenaz Adam as the Maldives Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates for approval by the People’s Majlis.
Dr Asim had served in the Maldives Foreign Service, as the Maldives High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.
Dr Shehenaz is currently the Maldives High Commissioner to Pakistan.
