New High commissioner of Pakistan accredited to the Maldives, Muhammad Saeed Khan presented his letter of credence to President Dr Mohamed Waheed this morning.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office to present the credentials, President Waheed congratulated High Commissioner Khan and expressed hope that the close bilateral relations that exist between the two countries would further enhance during the tenure of High Commissioner Khan.
High Commissioner Khan expressed pride for the long-standing fraternal relationship between the two countries.
The President and the High Commissioner further explored opportunities for increasing cooperation between the Maldives and Pakistan in the areas of tourism, trade and construction industry.
