President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today ratified the State Business Privatization Bill passed by the People’s Majlis on December 27, 2012. Following the ratification, the State Business Privatization Act has been published in the government Gazette today.
This Act determines the procedures for the privatization, corporatization, monitoring, evaluation and stock exchange of shares of state owned properties as stated in the Constitution.
