President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today returned Prison and Parole Bill, to the People’s Majlis for reconsideration.
The Bill was passed by the People’s Majlis on December 27, 2012.
In a letter sent to the Speaker of the People’s Majlis returning the Bill, the President detailed the main issues noted by the Attorney General regarding the Bill.
