President Dr Mohamed Waheed today met with the Maldivian National Basketball team taking part in the 2nd South Asian Basketball Championship. The tournaments will be held in Dhaka from 17 to 22 of this month.
Speaking to the players and team officials, President Waheed encouraged all players to perform well in the tournaments. The President also assured of the governments assistance in the development of basketball in the Maldives.
