The cabinet has today advised the President to form a government-owned company, under the name of Male’ International Airport Ltd, to operate Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. The cabinet made this recommendation after discussing a paper presented by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

The cabinet advised the President to form the company, with hundred per cent government shares. The recommendations also include for the Male’ International Airport Ltd to have the full authority to operate and develope the INIA, under a management contract with the Maldives Airports Company Ltd.
