President Dr Mohamed Waheed and First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain have this morning arrived in Maafushi Island of Male’ Atoll.
On his visit, the President met with the Maafushi Island Council this morning, and inquired on the ongoing developmental projects. He also discussed with members of the council, the projects planned for the development of the island, and the challenges being faced by the people of Maafushi.
