President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today visited the island of Rasmaadhoo of North Maalhosmadulu Atoll, as part of his current tour of the atoll.
Addressing the people of the island, the President said that an island’s residents bring life to it, and that the youth and children reflect the developmental achievements of the island.
In his speech, President Waheed highlighted the many areas where Rasmaadhoo was in need of development, and shared with the people, the work being done by the government in achieving their goals. He especially noted that the government would assist the Rasmaadhoo Youth Association in establishing a youth centre.
