President Dr Mohamed Waheed will address the nation at the special function held to mark this year’s Republic Day. The function will be held at 8.30 pm on Sunday evening, 11 November, at Dharubaaruge.
At the ceremony, President Waheed will present National Awards of Honour and National Awards of Recognition.
Recipients of Awards of Honour will receive a shield of honour and a badge, while the recipients of Awards of Recognition receive a commemorative plaque and a certificate.
