Members of the Addu Development Committee have today met with President Dr Mohamed Waheed today. The meeting was held at the President’s Office this afternoon.
Noting the high population of Addu Atoll, members of the committee shared with the President, the many social problems being faced in the atoll, especially the issues of unemployment among youth. They also mentioned the areas in which development was urgently needed in Addu Atoll.
At the meeting, the President said that the issues presented would be looked in to, and assured that the government would put in every effort to solve the issues faced in Addu Atoll.
