Milan Weekly of Nepal has presented its special issue on the 15th SAARC Summit to President Mohamed Nasheed.
15th SAARC Summit was held in Colombo from 2nd to 3rd August 2008.
Speaking at the meeting held at the President’s Office this afternoon President Nasheed stressed on broadening the role of SAARC in regional issues.
He also commended the work of Milan Weekly in documenting the proceedings of SAARC summits for the history.
The special issue was presented to the President by Chief Editor and Publisher of the magazine Ms Rekha Kyastha Bhandari.
Milan Weekly has been publishing special issues since the third SAARC Summit held 1987, commemorating the SAARC Summits.
