President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today ratified the third amendment Bill to Act number 2/99 (Tourism Act), which was passed by the People’s Majlis on 3 October 2012.
The bill has been published in the Government Gazette.
With the new amendment, an additional article was included into the Tourism Act, regarding the security of tourist resorts, tourist hotels, yacht marinas and tourist guest houses.
