The National Security Ministerial Committee has decided to begin immediate implementation of their recommended, urgent measures:
- Revision of Ministry of Economic Development’s policy on businesses providing 24 hour services, regarding the rise of societal problems.
- Random vehicle checks by the Maldives Police Service.
- Conduct safety awareness programmes, for a more aware community, by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
