President Dr Mohamed Waheed and First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain have arrived in Xinjiang Province of China yesterday evening, on an official visit.
On arrival, the President and First Lady were welcomed by Deputy Governor of Xinjiang Province, and senior officials of Province Foreign Ministry.
During this visit to China, President Waheed is scheduled to meet the Premier of China. Some important agreements will also be signed between the two countries, during this visit.
