President Dr Mohamed Waheed has presented the President’s Trophy for the champions of the Baibalaa Tournament 2012. The Baibalaa tournament is held annually, organised by the Baibalaa Association.
After watching the final match last evening, where B.G. Sports beat T.C. Sports, President Waheed presented to the champions, the President’s Trophy, and the champion cup and prize money from the Baibalaa Association.
Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports Mr Mohamed Hussain Shareef awarded the prize presented by the Baibalaa Association for the runner-up T.C. Sports. Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Mr Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor presented the prize for the fair play team Zefrol.
Abdulla Nishan of Lorenzo Sports won the Mr Baibalaa award, while Ali Naeem of T. C. Sports won the Fair Play award.
