President Dr Mohamed Waheed met with Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia last evening.
At the meeting, discussions were focused on the close bilateral relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, and ways to further strengthen the close relations.
The President briefed the Crown Prince on the economic state of the country, and the challenges being faced in the Maldives today.
At the meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince assured President Waheed of Saudi government’s continuous cooperation and support to the Maldives.
