President Dr Mohamed Waheed will depart tomorrow, on an official visit to India, on the invitation of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The President will be accompanied by the First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain.
During his visit, President Waheed will meet with Prime Minister Singh and other senior officials of the Indian government, to discuss ways to further develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in the different areas of development.
A Maldivian delegation of senior government officials will also accompany the President on this visit.
