President Dr Mohamed Waheed has sent a message of sympathy to President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan following a plane crash near Islamabad.
The President’s message reads as follows”
“It was with deep shock and grief that I learned about the passenger plane crash near Islamabad which killed all the people on board together with 11 children.
At this most difficult hour of national grief, the Government and citizens of Maldives join me in extending our heartfelt sympathy to you, the Government and the people of Pakistan.
Please convey our sincere commiseration to the members of the bereaved families.”
