President Dr Mohamed Waheed, has today visited the National Thalassemia Centre, and observed its administration and plans for further development of the centre.
During the meeting held with the senior officials at the Thalassemia Centre, the officials briefed the President of the challenges faced at the centre due to the shortage of space.
During his visit to the Centre, President Waheed also met with some blood donors and patients at the Thalassemia Centre. He also inspected the laboratory at the National Thalassemia Centre.
