President Nasheed has today appointed Mr Ahmed Sareer as the High Commissioner of Maldives to Bangladesh at a ceremony held this afternoon at the President's Office.
Following the presentation of the Letter of Appointment to Mr Sareer, the President called on him to work to strengthen the bilateral relations that exist between the Maldives and Bangladesh, especially in enhancing trade relations between the two countries.
