President Dr Mohamed Waheed has appointed eighteen new Deputy Ministers.

The new Deputy Ministers are:

1. Mohamed Saleem, as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs
2. Mohamed Iaad Hameed as the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury
3. Mohamed Ibrahim Maniku as the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury
4. Ismail Shafeeu as the Deputy Minister of Education
5. Azleen Ahmed as the Deputy Minister of Education
6. Mohamed Asif as the Deputy Minister of Education
7. Farhath Ali as the Deputy Minister of Health and Family
8. Ali Hameed as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
9. Ali Solih as the Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture
10. Is’haq Ahmed as the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication
11. Shiham Mohamed Waheed as the Deputy Minister of Economic Development
12. Abdulla Majeed as the Deputy Minister of Housing and Environment
13. Abdulla Muthalib as the Deputy Minister of Housing and Environment
14. Naaif Shawkath as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports
15. Abdulla Rifau as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports
16. Ahmed Rasheed as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports
17. Mohamed Qubad Aboobakr as the Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs
18. Asadulla Shafi’ee Ahmed as the Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs

In addition to the Deputy Ministers, President Waheed has also appointed Ali Waheed Hassan Maniku as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Centre for the Arts.
