President Dr Mohamed Waheed has this afternoon, returned to Male’, concluding his visit to Shaviyani atoll.
During his trip, the President visited 8 islands of the atoll and met with the people of the islands.
On Saturday, President Waheed visited Funadhoo and met the island and atoll councils. During the meeting, he discussed developmental issues with the members of the councils.
Later on Saturday evening, the people of Funadhoo hosted a cultural event in honour of the President.
