The cabinet has today decided to allot MRF 20 Million from the Alms Fund, to higher education scholarships, both locally and overseas.
The decision was made following deliberations on a proposal regarding the proposition, presented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
It was also decided that application for the scholarships shall open shortly.
