President Dr Mohamed Waheed has been receiving congratulatory messages from foreign leaders, on his assumption of office. Some leaders who have sent congratulatory messages to the President include President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh of India, and President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia.
The President also received congratulatory messages from foreign Ambassadors and Honorary Consuls.
