Special Advisor to the President Dr Hassan Saeed presented a letter from President Dr Mohamed Waheed, to Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Nations Kamalesh Sharma.
At a constructive meeting held yesterday, the Special Advisor updated Secretary General Sharma on the present situation in the country, and welcomed the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG)’s support and assistance in investigating and solving the political issues.
It is expected that the CMAG will report the findings of its visit this evening.
