President Dr Mohamed Waheed today met with the Speaker of People’s Majlis, Mr Abdulla Shahid. The meeting was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
Discussions at the meeting were focused on the country’s current political situation.
The President briefed the Speaker on measures being taken to find an amicable solution to the political problem. He said his most important priority was to restore peace and order in the country.
