President Dr Mohamed Waheed has met with the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the Maldives, Mr Dickson Sarathchandra Dela. The meeting was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
During meeting, President Waheed briefed the High Commissioner on the current political situation in the Maldives and priority areas of his administration.
Highlighting the close bilateral ties that exist between the Maldives and Sri Lanka, President said his administration was committed to continue strengthening those relations.
