Upon hearing the news of the passing away of Captain Ahmed Fulhu President Mohamed Nasheed telephoned the Late Captain Ahmed Fulhu’s family, and expressed his deep sympathy and sent sincere condolences.
Captain Ahmed Fulhu passed away this afternoon while being treated at Sri Lanka’s Nawaloka Hospital.
Captain Ahmed Fulhu was an expert captain, who sailed a number of boats under his captainship, to many parts of the Maldives. He has also sailed to Sri Lanka and India on a number of occasions.
He was survived by eight children.
